CarShare Pilot: Dash EV in downtown Greenville, SC: First mile/last mile solution
RIDES+ partnered with Innova EV to bring Dash EVs (electric vehicles) to downtown Greenville. Dash EVs function similarly to Bird or Lime scooter services. Riders were able to request Dash EVs through an app. Downtown Greenville served as a center for connected multimodal mobility through EV infrastructure, V2X communication, Smart City Cloud to provide equitable mobility services. Artificial Intelligence supported Edge and Cloud Collaboration will function to communicate between connected vehicles, traffic signals, EV charging stations, and connected parking to safely integrate this service in downtown Greenville.
